Pray for the Philippines ❤

Hello everyone! :)

I know this isn't beauty related but I just wanted to do a bloggage on this :)

If you've been on Twitter for almost the whole day, you probably have seen the Worldwide trending topics "Philippines" and "Stay Safe" (I'm not sure if there are others) either way, there's been a non-stop heavy rain (and strong winds!) in the Philippines for the past few days. We've been strongly experiencing it here in Manila. I feel blessed for not having to experience the water going inside our house due to the fact that we live on a higher ground in oppose to those who live in the places like Marikina and those who live nearby waters/dams.

So, I'm really just here to ask for your prayers, wherever you live! I know many of my Directioner family has been with us praying and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people all around the world have left their hearts with us, as well. We need all the prayers we can get from everyone!!

In line with this, to everyone wealthy and fortunate living in Manila (or in the Philippines in general) if you could kindly donate to the concierge areas near you. You can donate relief goods such as canned goods and everything that can easily be eaten. You may also donate clothing and cash too. Schools like La Salle Greenhills, Ateneo, Reedley, Xavier, La Salle Zobel, etc., have been opened for donation dropping stations. Malls like the Ayala company malls have opened their lot for those who have evacuated from their homes, in need of a place to stay until further notice. As of today (August 7, 2012 at 6 PM) many of the cities around Metro Manila have been suspended for tomorrow. There has been a report that if you are in need of rescue, please place a White cloth on the roof of your house or simply wave a White cloth for the rescuers to see you and help you right away. We suggest you avoid rescuing people who are in dangerous areas if you are not a professionally trained rescuer to avoid any more harm.

I know that us Filipinos will never fail to smile when we look upon this hindrance. I salute all of us for trying to help each other. It's amazing, really! BAYANIHAN! :)

This is just a friendly reminder on tips and suggestions. And also, asking for all your prayers and donations. Much love everyone
