A Shimmery Night (make up look)

This look was inspired by many different eye make ups I found on the internet. Originally, the real plan was I'm going to replicate this night look using the different shades of Brown, but instead, I decided to use that as an inspiration to make my own look... So let's start!

(From Left to Right)
- Start with a clean face! Don't forget to moisturize.
- For foundation, I'm using my Revlon Photoready in 005 Natural Beige.
* Make sure your foundation is the same shade as your skin color
- I have some foundation on my face. Rub it in evenly using your hands.

(From Left to Right)
- To set the foundation, I'm using my Maybelline press powder
with a powder brush instead of the regular sponge. My powder
shade is Nude Beige.
* Get a face powder that's in your shade to achieve a natural and even color.

(From Left to Right)
- To prime my eyelids, I'm using a Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
* You may use other eye shadow primers you want, no problem
with that. Just don't forget to use your ring finger when applying!

(From Left to Right)
- For the inner corner of my eyes, I used Wet n Wild's trio eye shadow
palette in I'm Getting Sunburned. I'm using the color Copper which has
the eyelid imprinted on the shadow (the one with the heart)
* I'm using the smaller eyeshadow brush to apply this color.

(From Left to Right)
- For the center of my eyelids, I'm using Victoria's Secret Sexy Spring Eyes.
- I'm using the Brown on the upper right of the palette (the one with the heart)
and the bigger eyeshadow brush to apply.
* Don't forget to slightly blend the Copper with the Brown to avoid
harsh lines. You may use a blending brush, if you wish.

(From Left to Right)
- And for the outer part of my eyelids, I'm again using my
Wet n Wild trio eye shadow palette, but now I'm using
the Pink which has the browbone imprinted on it (the one with the heart)
* I'm using my bigger eyeshadow brush to apply this color.

(From Left to Right)
- Now to make my eyes pop, I'm using my MAC Pigment Color Powder
in the shade Bronze. Apply on your upper and lower area of the eye.
* Never directly apply this to your upper or lower lashline as this is not
an eyeliner. These are powdery pigments, they may harm your eyes
if applied directly. Apply as close as you possibly can only.

(From Left to Right)
- For mascara, I'm using my Rimmel London Scandaleyes.
You may use other volumizing mascaras as you please like
the Benefit They're Real! or the Maybelline Magnum/Falsies.
* Just make sure your mascara is Black to make your eyes
pop even more and to highlight the colors better.

(From Left to Right)
- For blush and contouring, I'm using my two Clinique sets.
- For the blush, I'm using the blush in the color Sunset Glow.
- For contouring, I'm using the blush Mocha Pink.
* Don't forget, when contouring, you can use the 3E method
for a quick, easy and efficient contouring.

- For the lips, I'm using my Victoria's Secret
Big Smooch Plumping Glass Duo in the color
Nude. But for this look, I only used the Plumper
to plump and shine my lips.
* I suggest you apply a coat of any non-tinted
lip balm before adding any other product for
the lips to ensure moisture. Lip balms with SPF
will be much better. For this look, I'm using my
Kiss Kiss Balm Balm to moisturize my lips.

READY TO SEE THE FINISHED LOOK?

This look will work best during the night rather than the day. You may add more mascara if you're going to a party or anything like that. You may change the colors if you wish, as long as the inner and outer parts of your eyelids are in a shimmer finish while the center is in matte finish to achieve an elegant look. Don't forget that if you're going to use a different set of colors, you should make sure that they look good combined and when you blend the colors (to avoid harsh lines) they look flawless! For the lips, you may freely use any other color as long as it fits. I suggest you try to avoid matte finish lipsticks, if avoidable to keep the shimmery effect for night use.

PLEASE READ: I indicated the price for your reference. They're not in any way meant to brag how much a certain make up costs. They're in different currencies because I got them in different places. The make ups without prices are gifts from relatives and friends. Thank you for understanding.

Thanks everyone! I hope you guys enjoyed my first make up tutorial! Don't forget to send me a picture of you with the look if you decide to try it out, I would love to see that! :)

Much love <3 xxx
